Primary Children's Father's Day Craft

It is so hard to find a craft that ages 3 to 11 year olds can do for Father's Day.  I hope this one will work out OK.It is a simple matchbook design that wraps around a blow pop.  The dimensions are 2 inches by 6 inches.  Score at 1/2 inch, 2   3/4 inch. and 3  3/4 inch.  Punch a hole in the one inch center section.  The bear is from Doodlecharms by Cricut.

Sweets For Dad

This year's Father's Day candy bar for the guys at our church are done!  I used Give a Hoot Cricut cartridge to make the funny little squirrel.These are passed out to all the men over 18 years and always are a big hit.  I do 50 and my friend does 50.  Can't wait to see what she has done!  Diana

Father's Day In A Bottle

This is what I am doing for my dad this year. I filled a large water bottle with a ton of candy and attached a gift card with twine. It was easier than it looks. Remove the label from the bottle and cut the bottle in half all the way around in an area the new label will cover. Fill with candy and fit the two ends of the bottle back together and seal with mailing tape. Now all that's left is to decorate the bottle. My dad has a real sweet tooth so he should enjoy this and the gift certificate will be a extra treat. Diana

M&M Bowtie

We will be making these funny bow ties in Primary (children's Sunday school) this Sunday for Father's Day. Just cut a piece of 1/4 inch wide ribbon about 30 inches long. Pinch in the center of the package of M&M's and tie the ribbon around it in a knot, so that it leaves two ties dangling down. Now you can tie it around the dad's neck. I can't wait to see all the fathers walking around after church with candy bow ties! Diana

This Year's Father's Day Candy Wrapper

Rhoda and I came up with this cute candybar wrapper for the men at church. It is hard to see the details but the fish is iridescent and the background paper has a water pattern. I used craft paper to make the rectangle that is heavily inked around the edges. Foam tape to pop out the fish and the round tag. One down, only 84 more to go. Diana

Hop-py Father's Day

This card was inspired by one done by Donna Mundinger/popsicletoes. Hers was a thank you card and done in pink and green. But I loved how she welded the frogs onto the card in Design Studio. I used her basic idea and just changed the colors and left off the letters when I designed it. The frogs have four layers and are really stiff. They also have googly eyes.

Rhoda and I decided to do a handout for all the fathers in our ward on Father's Day. This is what we came up with. A full size chocolate bar wrap with a little more detail than we usually see! I wouldn't mind having one of these myself. Diana
