Shirt Dress

I found this tutorial on turning a men's shirt into a dress using the factory seams and thought it would be fun to try. It was a super easy project and turned out pretty cute.

My card challenge! by Darlene

My card challenge is to make a card for everyone in my family only using my Cricut. That means no cuts other then on the Cricut machine. I stated with my husbands family because there's only a couple of them. Here are the first 3. I found it really easy not to use my paper cutter or scissors. I hope you like them, let me know what you think. Darlene

Post it Note Holder

These are so easy! I needed to make two thank-you cards today but I thought these would really be nice to give instead. I found the idea at Chic n scratch and she even has a video that walks you through all the steps. The coasters also came from Chic n scratch and were very inexpensive. I used DCWV paper scraps from other projects for both holders. I cut out the monograms with the cricut. These were alot of fun to make and really cute!!

My Hubby's Card

This is the card I made for Ron for Valentines Day. Now that he has seen it I can post it. The honey comb backdrop was from Hugbug Clipart. Of course he loved it cuz it has bees on it.

New DCWV Paper

This is a card I created using the ladybug from Doodlecharms (I saw the 3d effect on another site). The black and white paper is from the La Creme stack from DCWV which was on sale at JoAnnes. The black bits are flocked so in person there is a lot of texture. Sorry so fuzzy but blame the photographer.

Birthday cards

Here is a card that I used the welding function on the Design Studio for the Cricut. This one was fun.
This card is using the Wild Card cartridge.

Wild Card again.

Doodle Charm and Animal Kingdom. The striped paper had glitter in it (hard to see).

This card uses Doodle Charm and a folding technique that really adds demension. Lots of glitter on this one.

A place to share your projects!!

I have always loved crafting! Recently I started papercrafting and it has slowly taken over most of my free time and my craft closet. Once I discovered the Cricut and Cuttle bug I knew this was the hobby for me! I love visiting other blogs for inspiration. I hope that this site will give my crafting buddies a place to share their latest projects. Happy crafting!!
