Another Buggy Card

After completing the card for Rhoda, I tried another color combo using the same baby buggy from New Arrival. I like this one better. I also used the cricut ink pens and had a little trouble getting the cut to match the ink. But I can definitely see the possibilities with the ink pens!!! Diana

Baby Girl

Rhoda asked me to make a card for her to give to a friend. ( Rhoda, you really need to take your cricut out of the box and plug it in!!!) This buggy is from New Arrival and is so stinking cute. Popped with foam tape and mounted to glittery paper. Diana

Sock Monkey

Rhoda and I went to a quilting show last week and one of the things I bought was a pattern for sock monkeys. ALWAYS wanted one and COULD NOT resist. Come on, I know it isn't high-end needle work but look how cute he is! Hilarious!! Diana

Eggciting Birthday Card

Yesterday was Cindy's Birthday so I can show her card. It was so fun and silly. I downloaded the chicken wire from the web and the chickens are from hugbug. Happy Birthday Cindy. Diana

Hop-py Father's Day

This card was inspired by one done by Donna Mundinger/popsicletoes. Hers was a thank you card and done in pink and green. But I loved how she welded the frogs onto the card in Design Studio. I used her basic idea and just changed the colors and left off the letters when I designed it. The frogs have four layers and are really stiff. They also have googly eyes.
If you have DS and want to download the pattern, let me know. You need Paper Dolls and Printing 101. Diana

Happy Father's Day for the Ward

Rhoda and I decided to do a handout for all the fathers in our ward on Father's Day. This is what we came up with. A full size chocolate bar wrap with a little more detail than we usually see! I wouldn't mind having one of these myself. Diana

Going My Way?

I have been working on this card for two days and finally figured out how to finish it. Almost everything is from paper dolls and is welded together in Design studio. Then I layered the car and popped it with foam tape.
The bat is also popped and is a die cut from cuttle bug. Love it!!!! Diana

Cake Pops!!!

Oh my goodness!!! Cake Pops!!! We finally made some!!! Were they easy? Well, maybe if you didn't have so many helpers and if you made them smaller and stuck the sticks in far enough so they didn't come out as you were dipping them and if you didn't make like a million of them!!! Were they delicious? Oh Yeah!!!
Cake on a stick, what could be better?

So many cake pops and..........so many adults watching over them!!! Hmmm. Diana

Jenn and Abby's Cards

Abby made this cute little bandaid holder.
And I made a few cards for my Young Women at church. The Hello Kitty cards are my new favorites!

Abby's monkey card. I was going to make it but she stole my monkey from me!

Sailing Ship

Another attempt at Design Studio. This time I welded the ship to a square and then added layers. I don't think it is done yet(maybe some clouds?), but since it is almost 11:00 pm here, I think I am done for the night. Diana

Monkey Business

This is a really silly card I messed around with today. I wanted to do a multi-fold card in Design Studio and this cage is what I played around with. The cage folds up and reveals the monkey. I now know why you need cricut markers!! My detail drawing on the monkey is terrible!!!!

The card also opens from the side and reveals the message. Diana

Another Halloween Card

This card is fussy cut with six layers!!! The boo is not cut out as nice as I think I should have done but oh well. Check out the next picture to see all the layers popped with foam tape. Diana

Monkey!!!

After talking to Jenn on the phone about cricut and cuttlekid dies, I got to urge to make this card. The monkey is a die from cuttlekids (Carolyn, an identical die is on it's way to you and the boys tomorrow) and is so funny. The tree is doodlecharms. This will probably end up as a birthday card. A Halloween Card????

To explain, I had just finished spending over 4 hours on a talk for this Sunday's sacrament meeting. The Big 20 minute talk. I know, nothing like waiting till the last minute. I still have my sunday school lesson to finish. Feeling a little overwhelmed. So it was time to take a break and.......make a card. But not another pretty card. No, I wanted to do a scary card!! So here it is. No cricut, just stamps. Pretty silly. Diana

A Very Cherry Birthday

This card is directly from the Hello Kitty Cartridge, using the card function. I used foam tape for all the colored pieces.

This is the inside of the card which isn't popped with foam tape. Such a sweet and easy card! Diana

Girly Girl

Couldn't call it a night without making a card!! I organized my craft closet today (not completely, but enough not to feel yucky when I am in there). When I was all done I decided to make this cute high heel I had cut earlier into something fun. The shoe is from Wedding Solutions and it is very girly. Diana

Sympathy Card

Got tired of sewing today and decided to whip out a card. I know the color selection is a bit "dark" but I wanted to do a black and off white card and this is what I came up with. Diana

Blue and Brown

Don't you just love brown and blue? This card is a variation of one I made yesterday but can't post because it hasn't been sent out yet. (Don't want to ruin the surprise!) This one is made from scraps from other projects. No cricut involved, just pretty paper. I think I am now done for the night. Lights off in the craft closet. Diana

Hello Kitty Grad Card

So someone should have made some sort of warning on the Hello Kitty Cart that this collection contained MANY tiny little parts that would require good eye sight to assemble!!! While I LOVE the images (and there are a lot!!!), they are quite elaborate for someone with attention disorder (undiagnosed,......Well, OK, I may be just a tad bit lazy......and blind!) This card is for a young lady in our ward who just gave me an invite today to her ceremony. Diana

Odin's first card

This card is still rather elemental, but being his very first piece I am impressed with the textural layering and collage effect. The van traveling off the page as if it were in escape is pretty clever. Thanks to grandparents Pike from the boys!

Thank you Card

Here is a thank you card. Three layers for the sun and a little glitter on the face. Popped with foam tape. I like this one. The images are from Hugbug. Also inked the edges in brown.

Eagle Scout Card

So the Freshmen from my days as seminary teacher are Seniors and graduating this year and we are recieving alot of invitations including an Eagle Court of Honor. It is not possible that these little ones are ready to go out into the world yet! Here is what I came up with for the Scout card. The Eagle is three layers (all cut out by hand---C-R-A-A-Z-Y) and popped with foam tape. The greeting is from Wildcard. Diana
