OK, I have officially lost my mind! Anyone who would spend time making such a tiny sock monkey has got to be losing it. He stands just 4 inches tall. He is needle felted (I think I have got that craft out of my system for now) and is stinking cute. And I did it without my glasses on!! Even more impressive!!

Pumpkin Box
Going Batty
Ghost Cat
Boo!!! Are you scared? You should be, it isn't everyday one sees an aberration.
I have just discovered the craft of needle felting!! Love it!! Here is my first project. This poor little kitten lost all nine of it's lives and now must wander this world as a spirit! At least it has a little ghost to keep it company! I saw a similar figure on the net and made my version over the last few evenings. She is made from wool and wire.

New Kitchen Cartridge
I made this card today just before the garage door "incident". More on that later in this post. The stove is from my new cartridge http://www.cricut.com/res/samplesheets/29-1054-FromMyKitchen_samplechart.jpg From my Kitchen. So many adorable images!!! I had a hard time choosing what to use first. The housewife is from the computer, as are the words. I distressed edges and inked in a lime green. The layers are popped with foam tape.
So back to the garage door...I had just opened the automatic garage doors to take out the garbage. Really thinking ahead since the garbage guy doesn't come until tomorrow :) Closed the door and when I was in the kitchen, I heard the hum of the motor still running!!! Looked into the garage and the whole mechanism is jammed into the end of the rail, bent all out of shape. 30 minutes later, covered in grease, what I thought I could do heaven only knows, I give up, and have a mini breakdown. Did I mention Ron just left for Africa yesterday? Oh and both the cars are in the garage. Of Course they are. Soooo I make a few phone calls. Do you know garage door people have emergency phone numbers, cuz apparently this happens a lot. Garage guys are coming tomorrow and my bank account will never be the same I am sure. Lots of fun. Right. Diana

First Christmas Card of the Year
OKAY, I know it is a little early to be making Christmas cards, but this one sooo needed to be made! I had this little piece of plastic that looked like it would be great for a shaker card. The snowman is from Hugbug and the jolly holiday is a sticker! It was a little difficult to assemble (I am sure I made it harder than it had to be!!!) but it went together pretty easy otherwise. I think the colors are a little unusual for Christmas but I like it. Diana
BBTB Challenge
Bitten by the Bug is having another design contest!!! We were asked to follow these rules. Use an image from a selection of designs from Peggy Loves Vintage and at least one cut from a cricut cartridge! I really loved this cute pair of babies so .... The cuts I used were the Father's Day card cut from Wildcard, the frame from Accents essentials and the flower from Wedding Solutions.

Cuttlebug Halloween Cards!
I got these cute cuttlebug embossing folders on sale last year and finally have a reason to use them!! The first one is a spider web. To get the embossed images to stand out, I inked them (both cards have been treated with the same inking technique). Then I used the spider from the Doodlecharms cart. The head is layered and the eyes are googly. The second card is a skull folder and I applied a vampire sticker to the center. A few extra embellishments and they're done! Diana

Halloween and Fall Cards
This first card is too funny! The castle is from paperdolls, the bat is from walmart, the velum is trimmed with a Martha Stewart border punch and the boo is a stamp from provocraft.
The card below is using the same border stamp from Martha. I liked how simple the two bold colors make this card.
This next card is using a lot of the cuttlebug equipment. The orange cardstock is embossed all over. The plaid cardstock has had a simple leaf cut out of it and is applied on top of the orange paper. These papers are mounted to a black card base and everything is heavily inked. The tag is attached with grommets.
