Another valentine treat box. This one is also for a little boy who loves adventure. I took a tin chest and decorated it with maps, skulls (metallic), jewels and locks. Finished off with a rope border and a lot of aging with ink.

Vintage Tea Towels
It is so cold here today! 10 degrees!! Needless to say I am not going anywhere outside. So it is craft day today. I had seen something similar to these on Graftics Fairy a while back and have been wanting to try my hand at transfer paper. The image is from GF and is so vintage. I used all cotton tea towels that I washed and dried first. SOOOOO IMPORTANT!!!! Then came the tedious task of ironing the tea towels. Boring...... The image is printed by computer on iron on transfer paper (available at wallmart). Then you cut the images out very close to the edges of the image. Following instructions, you iron the image, face side down, for about 45 seconds. Let cool and remove the paper. And here is the finished image up close.
Pink Cloud
I love babies. Unfortunately, I don't know any right now, but that didn't stop me from sewing up a sweet pink cloud for the next baby girl that comes along! I had bought this fabric in amish country a while back. It is so soft and smushy, I just love it. Here is a close up of the furry side. It has a bit of sparkle to it!!!

Valentine Treat Lunchbox
I am still working on valentines. This one is for a 1 year old boy. Didn't want to go too pretty cuz you know how little boys are! I got this tiny lunch box a while back but it had santas all over it. I spray painted it white and then covered most of it in the green paper. Removed the plastic handle and replaced it with this jute rope. Bears are from Doodlecharms and the large heart, words and letter A are from Lyrical Letters. Everything is inked to rough it up a bit.

Primary Seat Covers
OK, I realize these aren't that exciting. Seat covers, big whoop. But the cool part is I cut out all the letters with the cricut!! So easy!! And how many of you are having to make new covers because of the change in the class names in primary! The pits, I know, but I am trying to embrace change. I took the opportunity to brighten things up a bit. This is not the same chair as at church but at least it shows how they go on the backs. The letters are ironed on but because I know they will be picked at, I also machined stitched around the edge of each letter.

Valentine Cards
It has been forever since I posted a card so today, with a cold dreary afternoon to fill, I came up with these three cards. I used the treat cups on each of them (available thru Stamping Up). The lamb card image is from From My Kitchen. This card is difficult to see but the image is from Lyrical Letters. I punch a 1 3/4 inch hole in the center of the heart. The polka dot ribbon was too bright so I inked it along with all the edges of the card.
